Dental Assistant Course Details
What makes our program unique?
Our convenient classes make it easy to work around your busy schedule. Build confidence in your knowledge before class through online homework modules and readings. Then, master your technique in-office on weekends with plenty of repetition and guidance from our instructors.
12 Weeks Long
Our students complete our program confident and excited for their new career. We stick to teaching you exactly what you’ll need to be successful in the field.
We provide hands-on training in an actual dentist’s office to help you practice and retain information better. Learning in the environment that you will work in gives you an advantage when you start your new career. Our students are so prepared that many find jobs prior to even graduating!
What's included in your tuition
Repetition is an integral part of learning, and you can do it from the comfort of your own home. With our at-home lab kit, you will be able to practice your labs, charting, and vocabulary as many times as you’d like, then show up to the office each weekend for your hands-on lab prepared to show off your new skills. Your lab kit will include scrubs, basic instruments, impression trays, x-ray RINN set, and much more!
Dental Assistant Externship
College Station Dental Assistant School 40-hour externship program provides our students with the real-world experience they need to become confident and qualified dental assistants. The externship portion of our course allows our students the opportunity to work under the direct guidance of experienced dental professionals in a local dental office. Students are eligible to begin their externships after class 3. Although we encourage our students to find their own externships, our Student Success Specialists are here to help our students identify potential opportunities in the area and assist with applications.
